The virtual Arizona High School Science Bowl was a success this past weekend! The high school students from all of the teams competed fiercely for their spots and we are proud to announce that BASIS Peoria came in first place!
The Arizona Science Bowl brings together students who are passionate about STEM to compete against each other with fast-paced questions within a range of science disciplines, such as biology, chemistry, Earth and space science, physics and math. Middle School and High School student teams participate from all across the country. Each team is composed of four or five students and a teacher who serves as an advisor and coach.
The High School Semi-Final will be held virtually on Saturday, May 21st, 2022. All champions from the regional tournaments will compete in the semi-finals to determine the Top 8 Teams that will be invited to compete in the National Championship July 8th-12th, 2022 in Washington DC.
The Arizona Science Bowl is sponsored and organized by Solugenix Corporation, in coordination with the Arizona Technology Council Foundation. The event is also supported by the ASU New College School of Mathematical and Natural Sciences.
