This year marks the 16th Annual Arizona Regional Science Bowl—the only math and science competition of its kind. Through this event, local community members further the cause of developing a world-class STEM workforce in Arizona. Since 2021, the Arizona Science Bowl has been held virtually - a new and exciting challenge for students and volunteers alike.

The Arizona Science Bowl is a regional event of the National Science Bowl® (NSB). Since 2007, hundreds of students have competed in this rapid fire competition to prove their capacious science and math knowledge! Winners of this regional Science Bowl will advance to the National Science Bowl in Washington, D.C. The regional and national events encourage student involvement in math and science, provide an awareness of future career options in STEM, and deliver a venue for exercising their achievements.

2022 Event Dates

  • Middle School Science Bowl - February 26th, 2022
  • High School Science Bowl - March 5th, 2022

Each year, the Arizona Science Bowl hosts a keynote speaker to represent some of Arizona’s most successful STEM innovators and entrepreneurs. “We are pleased to once again play a key role in building Arizona’s STEM workforce. What we are doing is sowing the seeds for future generations.” Shashi Jasthi, President and CEO of Solugenix Corporation.
